3 of Alice's Chinese paintings were shown today at the group Chinese art exhibition in Hong Kong. 12 Chinese artists participated in the group show today. Alice's Chinese paintings were all vertically mounted and framed artwork at this group show. The title of these paintings are the "Orchestra of Life Part 1", "Orchestra of Life Part 2", and "Orchestra of Life Part 3". The sizes were 54.5cmx187cm. I will be selling these on my online shop here as well as my etsy shop as well. Feel free to message me if you are interested in purchasing these paintings.
This is another art show that concludes the end of 2018. This is one of my countless art shows of this year. 2018 was a great year for my art year as I got my first art gallery representation at Avenue West gallery, in Spokane, WA, USA and we able to expand my art collectors list in the USA as well as in Asia. The White Box Gallery gave me a wonderful opportunity to show at the Hong Kong Jockey Creative Art Centre in 2018 as well.
Last but not least, I got invited by my high school to have a solo art exhibition at St. Paul's Co-educational College and I gave an art speech at school and also I just finished an art workshop with my students. It was a really fun and rewarding experience. I realized there are a lot of talented art students in Hong Kong who deserve a fine art education and learn about painting.
Lately, my focus has been on expanding my Chinese art collections and these 3 series clearly express my interest in Chinese art. There are a lot of people who are looking for Chinese art in the art market and the West are also intrigued by the beauty of oriental fine arts. Sign up for my mailing list if you are interested in purchasing or seeing more of Alice's Chinese Art/ Paintings in general before you exit this blog.
The following are some images from the art reception today. There were 12 different Hong Kong fine artists at this group art show and it was a really nice cultural exchange at the art reception. Thank you all for coming. Comments down below and share your thoughts about this art exhibition if you attended the show today.
An interesting sculpture were presented at the gallery as well.
The title of these 3 paintings are called the "Orchestra of Life". These abstract paintings illustrate the idea of the fleeting nature of life and where nothing is permanent. These little bright and dim spots of lights illustrates the ups and downs of life. You can also interpret these lights as the artist's interpretations the little spots of light of what people see by the end of life when they take their last breath. Many people recalled that they see many spots of lights when they die and leave this world and enter another dimension of space that surpasses all physical space and time.
