Honey Badger is a formidable bear in Africa. "Jambo" means "hello" in Africa. The artist admires the honey badger as it's an animal that is not afraid of overcoming tremendous obstacles when it strives to succeed. The honey badger continues to survive in its dry habitat where food is scarce.

It will venture into the bee hives and tolerate pain of the bee stings in order to eat the bee larva. The badger is not afraid of the horns that come its way to get the mice hiding inside the horns. The badger is not afraid to combat with the poisonous scorpions or snakes in the wild.

Hang this animal in your living space. Remind yourself that are as strong and formidable as the honey badger and the badger will motivate you to succeed in your everyday life.

This original wildlife and floral painting was created for those who love red/ orange tulips, blue pastel hydrangea, and birds/ wildlife animals. The artist created this imagery from her experiences from living in the Pacific Northwest region, in the Washington State, USA. Seattle is a place that is famous for the Pacific Northwest’s iconic Tulips Festival that was a festive season started for the early settlers in the area by the Dutch Americans. This heavenly imaginary of what the artist perceives when a person wakes up to a brand new day while hearing these morning birds chirping outside the windows.

Alice Chan is a currently living and working as an artist and an architectural designer in Notting Hill, London. Alice is currently represented by Avenue West Gallery in Spokane, WA, USA. Alice had won numerous art awards and had shown her artwork both internationally and locally. ALICE CHAN is a contemporary Asian artist who studied fine art and architecture in the United States, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Japan, China, Singapore, Portugal, Florence, and Rome.

Alice’s artwork is based on the theme of healing and empowerment in power of Mother Nature. Having lived in Seattle, the Evergreen State of Washington, nature is her main inspiration for her artwork where Alice was surrounded by nature. Nature is consistently evolving through cycles of massive destruction and the birth of life. Alice’s art seeks to capture the beautiful transient moments of the orchestra of life, where cycles of life and death is consistently evolving. You will find lots of natural and man-made elements such as flowers, landscape, wildlife, architecture, and still life that translate back into the theme of nature throughout her work.

Alice wishes that these two of her paintings that she’s showing at this “Exhibit Now” Charity Art Show will be healing for the patients at the hospital at this charity event. Alice wishes her artwork can convey that hope does exist and full recovery is possible. Through her wildlife paintings, Alice wishes that patients can believe in our body’s natural healing power and bring health & wellness back into their lives. Alice hopes to help patients regain hope and faith in their recovery journey.
